Positano is a gorgeous Italian getaway attracting celebs and the wealthy for yearly visits and tourists for day trips. Too darn expensive to actually stay.
Crystal clear water, sand and rocky beach access, stunning cliff side views, restaurants and cafes galore and step lane ways with artists sharing their talents and venders flocking their goods.
We were lucky to take a short walk around to an amazing spot just away from the tourist booming water front. A short walk around the cliff bend and a tiny stair case later, you find a mini paradise of pebbly beach with no more than 10 other visitors, calm waters, climbing rocks and an ice cream shop not far away.
We spent the entire day in Positano, simply couldn't bring ourselves to leave until the sun was setting. More than worth the 3 euro bus fare to get there.
